A traffic scheme was developed, routes were divided, and final forms were selected in collaboration with the client.
Accessibility
In accordance with accessibility principles, all spaces are fully equipped for wheelchair users.
The project includes the elimination of an underground crossing.
The single-level pathway will make transfers between modes of transport faster and more accessible.
All platforms are 30 cm high. This height allows passengers with limited mobility to board public transport independently.
The platforms are designed for level boarding.
Navigation
The platform layout reduces the number of routes arriving at each stop. Routes are grouped by direction, which improves passenger orientation during their journey.
We removed extra lanes to reduce the space dedicated to cars.
The bike path was extended to the bus hub, making it easily accessible by bicycle.
Summary
This project is highly significant for Nizhny Novgorod. Its implementation will help create a comfortable public transport system and, most importantly, a more comfortable city.
