Main goal
Create a bus station with a dedicated boarding area, bus parking, a building with rental units, and greenery above the boarding zone.
Entrance
The shape of the gate invites passengers and visitors to the park and bus station. When exiting from the Chkalovskaya metro station, the “gate” of the bus terminal attracts attention and serves as a clear landmark for wayfinding.
The complex is convenient and useful for both passengers and local residents. The complex provides commercial spaces, includes leisure areas, and fulfills its primary transport function. The entrance canopy protects the outdoor escalators from snow and rain. The canopy with a parking space helps to hide the lifeless space designated for buses and convey it to residents and passengers as a space for rest.
Above the platforms and bus parking area, there is a structure with a green roof.
The canopy helps to screen the utilitarian bus parking area and transform it into a comfortable resting space for residents and passengers.
