Zaraysk
A small town near Kolomna with a population of 22,000. The city boasts a rich history, a kremlin, beautiful architecture, and recently renovated streets.
In 2021 and 2022, several streets were redesigned: roads were narrowed, some were made one-way, sidewalks were widened, building facades were illuminated, and the main square was renovated.
Strelka card
The transport card design features the city’s architectural landmarks depicted in thin white lines.
Ilya prorok church
In 1835, during a major restoration, the church was rebuilt in brick in the Classical style.
It became a key architectural landmark of Krasnoarmeyskaya Street.
Water tower
Built between 1914 and 1916.
The water tower is located in the center of the square and serves as the architectural focal point of Krasnoarmeyskaya and Gulyayeva streets.
Zaraysk kremlin
The stone kremlin was built on the right bank of the Osetr River.
The Nikolskaya Tower features a unique architectural shape.
